Emergency Shelter

At the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission, all residents initially enter through our emergency housing program. Residents can stay in the Guest Dorm (our emergency homeless shelter) for up to thirty consecutive nights without making a commitment to participate in our programs. They are provided food, shelter, personal toiletry items and clothing. Case management services assist and encourage these residents in acquiring suitable housing and employment. Guest Dorm residents are required to attend evening Chapel services while with us. If they are in need of more intensive and long-term services they may apply for our six month Intensive Restoration Program.
